Staff Exchanges are the core of SUSNAMU, enabling researchers to gain new skills, share knowledge, and build lasting international collaborations.
As part of the SUSNAMU team of researchers, Franziska Wasner from Biointerfaces Lab at FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg is currently undertaking a one-month secondment at CIC biomaGUNE — an experience designed to strengthen both individual expertise and cross-institutional exchange.
During this research stay, she is receiving hands-on training in key characterisation techniques in material science that are directly relevant to her research and transferable to her research at FAU. Through this training, she is advancing her ability to systematically analyse critical parameters of her materials prior to integration into nanofibers.
Beyond the individual benefit, this exchange strengthens the collaboration between FAU and CIC biomaGUNE and continues their scientific interaction within this project and beyond.
Experiences like this exemplify how HORIZON -MSCA – STAFF EXCHANGES MARIE SKLODOWSKA-CURIE ACTIONS support researcher development while advancing our shared scientific objectives.
